Embassy Hosts Election Morning Program (Nov. 3, 2004)

Viewers watching the election during the Election Morning Program hosted by the Embassy.

Over 150 people attended the Embassy’s Election Morning Program. With large TVs and computers with Internet access providing constant updates, the event generated all the excitement that could have been expected from this close election. Embassy staff updated the electoral count on a large chart on the wall, thus ensuring that all guests could easily see the results as they came in. The program took place at the residence of Ambassador Patricia M. Haslach, which was colored with festive red, white, and blue decorations.
