Health Frontiers Graduates a New Class of Doctors

HE Minister of Health Ponemek Dalaloy and Ambassador Patricia Haslach congratulate the new class of Internal Medicine graduates.

Ambassador Patricia Haslach hosted a reception for new graduates of the Health Frontiers postgraduate medical training program in Pediatrics and Internal Medicine on May 4. The Honorable Dr. Ponemek Dalaloy, Minister of Health, voiced his appreciation for the U.S. Government’s support for improving health care for the people of Laos through improved medical expertise and education. Representatives from the principal participating hospitals spoke on the importance of such training opportunities in bettering health care throughout the country. Ambassador Haslach, who was hosting her last official reception as Ambassador to Laos, applauded the new graduates and expressed her appreciation to the Minister of Health for his cooperation and vision in improving the level of health care provided to the Lao people.
