Ambassador Patricia Haslach Visits Southern Laos

 
Ambassador Haslach and the team in

the people of Katum by the
U.S. Government.
The newly-completed medical clinic
donated by the U.S. government, in
Kalum District, Sekong Province.  
This is the third clinic to be built
and donated in the last three years.

On May 24-26, Ambassador Patricia Haslach, accompanied by Economics Officer Scott Rolston and a team from the U.S. Embassy, Vientiane, visit Sekong Provinces in southern Laos.

Ambassador Haslach toured the newly constructed medical clinic in Kalum, Sekong Province. The clinic, the third to be constructed in three years, was built by the U.S. Department of Defense (PACOM) Humanitarian Assistance program, supervised by Maj. Pat Stogner. The first two clinics, located in Taouy District and Kongsedone District, Savawan Province, were opened last year. |May 24-26, 2006|
