Embassy Sponsors Internet Training for Journalists (May 15, 2003)

Working with the Mass Media Training Center of the Ministry of Information and Culture, and STEA.

The American Embassy, working with the Mass Media Training Center of the Ministry of Information and Culture, and STEA, sponsored a workshop on use of the Internet for journalists on May 15, 2003. The workshop was given twice, each time for about 18 journalists from all major English-and Lao-language newspapers in Vientiane and KPL news service. The training was provided by Luella Davis, Regional Information Resource Officer based at the U.S. Embassy in Bangkok.
