Consular Officer Philip Nervig gave a presentation to 50 students about studying in the United States

Vientiane Consular Officer Philip Nervig gave a presentation to 50 students about studying in the United States and how to apply for student visas at the American Center, located on the campus of the Lao-American College on March 29. Mr. Nervig briefed the student on visa process and trends in visa issuance. He also demonstrated several U.S. government websites and explained how to begin the process of studying in the U.S. This program was the latest in an ongoing weekly series that organized by Public Diplomacy Section to promote American culture, society and policies. |March 29, 2006|
