U.S. Embassy Supports Faculty of Law | Public Affairs Officer James Warren hand

Mr. Khamsone at Faculty of Law |
The Embassy’s Public Affairs Section donated a computer and LCD projector to the Faculty of Law in a small ceremony on July 7. The equipment, valued at $4,000, will enable the Faculty of Law to conduct seminars and other programs more effectively. This donation is part of ongoing support that the U.S. Embassy has provided to the Faculty to help it develop its courses in International Law. The Embassy and Faculty of Law cooperated on a month-long program on “International Covenants and Agreements” in May, 2005, and is planning another joint program on “International Commercial Law” later this year.
