Ambassador Haslach and Lao Vice Minister
Phongsavad Boupha offer a toast to each
other’s countries and to a harmonious
bilateral relationship.

The U.S. Embassy celebrated the 230th anniversary of the founding of the United States of America with a reception held at the residence of U.S. Ambassador to Laos Patricia M. Haslach. The enjoyable event was attended by Lao Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Phongsavad Boupha, members of the diplomatic community, and Americans living in Laos.

The reception was also a chance for the many Embassy officers leaving Laos in the next two months for onward assignments in Washington, D.C. and in other countries to say good by to many of their Lao friends. |June 30, 2006|
