PACOM Commander visits JPAC MIA Recovery Site in Laos

 
Admiral Fallon greets Recovery Team 2
members in Savannakhet Province
Commander of US Pacific Command, Admiral Thomas J. Fallon visited Joint POW-MIA Accounting Command (JPAC) Recovery Team 2 of the 95th Joint Field Activity in Savannakhet Province while on a recent visit to Laos. Admiral Fallon visited Laos July 19 and 20 to review Lao-U.S. Cooperation on recovering remains of American servicemen lost in the Indochina War and to discuss other issues of mutual concern between the United States and Laos. 

JPAC works to provide the fullest possible accounting of service members lost during the nation's previous conflicts, a cornerstone of the United States Government’s mission in Laos.
