Reception in Vientiane Brings Lao Alumni Together

Jessica Davies Country Officer meets twenty Lao Alumni of USG Exchange Programs

A Public Affairs Section (PAS) reception in honor of visiting EAP/PD Country Officer for Mainland Southeast Asia Jessica Davies brought twenty Lao alumni of USG exchange programs together with Davies and Embassy officers. Discussions focused on how the grantees—from Fulbright, Humphrey, and International Visitor programs—have been able to use in Laos the knowledge they acquired in the United States. PAS also took advantage of the large gathering of alumni to launch its efforts to promote the State Alumni website.
