Regional English Language Officer Mr. George Wilcox Shares New Ideas With Lao Teachers and Students

George Wilcox RELO gave a Presentations
at the Embassy's American Center

George Wilcox, Regional English Language Officer based in Bangkok, gave three presentations in Laos: on “ Teaching English and Critical Thinking” to 20 English teachers at the Lao-American College; on the same subject to 20 secondary school teachers in Vientiane; and on “How to Study English More Effectively” for about 25 students at the Embassy's American Center. These talks emphasized strategies for English teaching and studying that use critical thinking, reasoning, problem solving and inventive thinking.
