U.S. is Top Supporter of UXO Cleanup In Laos

Parts of the country of Laos are severely contaminated by unexploded ordinance. The United States Government is the largest single donor for unexploded ordinance removal in Laos. In fiscal year 2005, the U.S. spent $2.5 million to fund organizations dedicated to removing unexploded ordinance in Laos.
