Lao Student Wins 50th Anniversary Logo Designing Contest

Mr. BounNam Inthavong
Mr. Boun Nam Inthavong, a 27-year old student at the Faculty of Architecture, National University of Laos, was declared the winner in the 50th Anniversary Logo Designing Contest. His winning design, which shows the American Statue of Liberty and the Lao That Luang, together with the flags from the two countries, was selected as the logo best representing friendship between the Lao and American peoples. More than 40 Lao citizens submitted 55 logos in the contest.
