50th Anniversary

Here's the new information for the logo designing contest:

Winner Logo for Lao-U.S. Relations
On the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of U.S.-Lao diplomatic relations Lao citizens were invited to compete in a contest (ending August 8) to design a logo representing friendship between the Lao and American people. The contest received over 40 unique logo designs. After careful consideration by the U.S. Embassy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Bounnam Inthavong was announced the winner!

At the U.S. Embassy’s free movie showing of Back to the Future Mr. Bounnam Inthavong was honored and received a $100 award for his excellent logo design.

Mr. Bounnam Inthavong’s logo will appear on shirts, coffee mugs, and other items to be distributed at anniversary events. Congratulations Mr.
