Ketsana Biography:

Ms. Ketsana Vilaylack
Ms. Ketsana Vilaylack
Every life is a journey, and journey it is for this Laotian born and raised, Los Angeles, CA based singer, songwriter, and producer, Ketsana.

Her remarkable journey in life began in Savannakhet, Laos and has taken her around the world including tours of the United States, Canada, France, and her motherland, Laos, singing in her native tongue, Laotian, and English.

After spending the last five years in Southeast Asia, both touring and working for Warner Chappell Music Publishing as a composer, Ketsana has returned to her adopted home. That's right, Ketsana is back in the United States and ready to embark on the newest stage of her journey in life and music.

Her stunning soulful voice has reached and touched the homes, hearts, and ears of Lao people throughout the world. Her music is as exquisitely crafted brand of eccentric electronic rock inflected pop; combining and blending a twist of exotic sounds of her motherland's traditional instruments with the Western world's groove and sounds. Something like East meets West.

In reflecting upon her aspiration to keep growing personally and artistically, Ketsana says, "I ground myself, focus, and just be me". In order to be a better singer, songwriter, and producer, I have to maneuver all the normal everyday life "stuff". After all these "stuff" are accomplished, I can really focus on "me" and the "music in me".
